The screw is made of stainless steel A4 for highly exposed environments, such as facades made of exclusive wood, thermally modified wood, facades with a corrosive surface treatment, such as iron vitriol, as well as facades in coastal areas.

Stainless steel screws are also preferred on facades because weathering and wind cause movements for which a non-hardened screw is the best choice.

The screw has a fibre cutter to minimise splitting and reduce the drive-in torque.

The countersunk head with a sealing edge provides a good hold and closes the hole to prevent moisture from penetrating the surface. Screw with a TX head.

Product detailed description

The ESSVE facade screw is designed for installing wooden facades and panels, mainly outdoors, on wooden substrates. The screw has a fibre cutter and a countersunk head with a sealing edge.

The screw length should be chosen so that the screw does not penetrate the wind barrier layers.

The screw is available in a bright finish and also in several colours that match, for example, the MøreRoyal facade type.

Pre-drilling is required for wood species other than pine. Pre-drilling covers both the facade material and the structural material. Recommended pre-drilling for hardwoods: Facade 4.5 mm + countersink 90°, Structure 3.5 mm (unless the wood is pine).

Dimensions 4.4 × 65 mm, surface treatment stainless steel A4 (acid-proof, suitable for demanding environments). The pack contains 250 pieces.
