    ESSVE at Zrubko: screws, anchoring and fixing products

    Zrubko is the distributor of the Swedish brand ESSVE for Slovakia and the Czech Republic. You can buy ESSVE in our online shop and in our store on Hviezdoslavova street. We can advise you on the fixings you need for building with timber, fixing into concrete or into plasterboard.

    By what you are building

    Choose the type of work. Each one lists the shop categories with suitable ESSVE products.

    Timber frame and roof structure

    Load-bearing joints in beams, rafters and posts call for construction screws and timber engineering connectors. For the roof you will also use roofing screws and nails for nail guns.

    Deck

    Decking boards are fixed to the frame with decking screws, some of them made of stainless steel. The HDS Pro installation tool is designed for screwing down the boards.

    Facade and timber cladding

    Timber cladding on a facade is exposed to both rain and sun. That is why our range includes stainless ESSVE facade screws. For other joints in timber, standard wood screws do the job.

    Windows and doors

    Window and door frames are fixed with frame screws or frame fixings. You then fill the gaps around the frame with foam or sealant.

    Fixing into concrete

    In concrete and aerated concrete you can fix with concrete screws, wall plugs, wedge anchors or chemical anchors. The choice depends on the base material and the load.

    Plasterboard and interiors

    Plasterboard and chipboard have screws of their own. To hang a shelf or a cabinet on a hollow wall, use plasterboard fixings. Floors and skirting boards are fixed with floor screws.
