The SAM drywall anchor is a steel fixing with a lower sleeve that has an internal thread for the screw. Its load-bearing capacity is high because the arms create a large area that spreads the pressure. The SAMMY setting tool or SAM pliers must be used to install the SAM anchor; see the installation accessories. The setting tool ensures correct expansion. In the process, the anchor is drawn together and expands in the middle, with its four arms folding back. The SAM drywall anchor provides a permanent threaded anchor point.
