The frame screw with a sharp point is designed for installing step-drilled frames into wood and concrete. As the screw is driven in, the counter-spikes under the head grip the frame and allow its position to be adjusted. The frame is aligned by screwing in or out, and the installation point is then covered with a plastic cover cap.
