Straightening bowed decking boards
The installation lever helps to straighten bowed wooden boards and pull them into the correct position before they are screwed or nailed down. The tool braces against the floor joist. A levering movement pulls the board into position, ready for fixing.
It can usefully be combined with spacer aids when installing a deck. Place the lever over the joist, lever the board into the required position and only then fix it.
