Direct installation into steel
The self-drilling screw with a hex head is designed for fixing into steel without separate thread cutting.
The drill tip penetrates the steel substrate during installation. The screw forms its own thread as it is driven in. The hex head is complemented by a PH2 cross recess.
Installation
Drive the screw perpendicular into the steel substrate, using the hex head or the PH2 recess, until it is properly seated.
