Use in structures
The EUS2 test sleeve is a gauge for checking whether an EUS2 screw can be safely reused in a temporary installation. The sleeve assesses the wear of the screw thread. Visibly damaged, corroded or deformed screws must not be reused.
The tool is intended for carbon steel EUS2 screws with supported surface treatments. Slide the sleeve onto the tip of the screw; if it passes over the third thread from the end, the screw is worn and must not be reused.
