Fixing wooden components
The screw has a patented head shape that minimises splintering and gives an attractive finish.
Underneath the head, the screw has cutting mills that cut through the wood fibres and countersink the screw into the wood, leaving a smooth, splinter-free surface. The head also works well in countersunk fittings, even though it has no protruding ribs.
