Description and application:
The wood screw with a large head is designed for installing timber beams, joist hangers and other components in demanding outdoor environments. The large low head creates a high clamping force and its underside is shaped to seat correctly against the timber component. The cutting element in the tip reduces the drive-in torque, limits splintering and removes the need for pre-drilling in normal installation.
