Application and design of the screw
ESSVE Wood screw with countersunk head is used for indoor structural and assembly joints in wood. The fibre cuts in the tip reduce the drive-in torque and limit splitting. The grooves on the head cut through the wood fibres and help to create a smooth countersink.
The screw is installed in wood, and on longer variants the manufacturer uses an additional milling element to make setting easier.
