The wood adhesive every carpenter must have – Snabb for fine joinery
Wood adhesive for fine joinery
An adhesive that fills gaps and holds within 30 seconds. Ideal for carpenters and woodwork that demands precision.

Holds within 30 seconds
What is unique about Snabb adhesive is that it holds within 30 seconds without a clamp. Apply the adhesive and press the part on for a few seconds – done!
Which materials does the adhesive hold on?
The adhesive holds on a wide range of materials – wood to wood, of course – but it works just as well on polystyrene, stone, metal and glass.
Like most wood adhesives, installing with Snabb adhesive requires one absorbent side. This means that either the part you are gluing or the substrate you are gluing it to must be made of a material that can absorb the water from the adhesive.
A wood adhesive that fills gaps and does not run
Snabb adhesive is very easy to work with and is ideal for fine joinery and other precision projects. Unlike many other wood adhesives, it does not have a runny consistency, so installation is precise and less messy.
The adhesive fills gaps and therefore also works very well on uneven surfaces. Once cured, it is also almost transparent, so the joint looks neat.

A carpenter's tips on wood adhesive
Swedish carpenter Julia Ardesjö runs the company J.A Trappsnickeri in the Roslagen area. Making stairs involves a lot of fine work, and Snabb adhesive is one of the products Julia always has to hand in the workshop. Here she explains the 3 installations where Snabb adhesive will save the day:
1. Repairing a chipped piece of wood
– Wood is a fairly soft material that can ‘splinter’ when a metal tool knocks into it. It quite often happens that a splinter comes loose in a place that is hard to reach with a clamp. The piece may be too small, or you do not have time to stand and hold it while ordinary adhesive dries. Instead, put a little Snabb adhesive on the splinter, hold it for 30 seconds where it broke off, and then sand lightly with sandpaper to remove any adhesive residue, or wipe it off with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Decorative wooden details
– One part of the staircase where I always use Snabb adhesive is the newel caps on the balustrade posts. With this kind of installation it is hard to achieve even pressure with a clamp or a gluing clamp – with Snabb adhesive you do not need to, it holds immediately and the part does not slip. It is also excellent for gluing mouldings.
3. Precise woodwork
– Sometimes it is hard to keep wooden parts still when gluing where there are no edges to brace against. When, for example, I have to glue a safety strip under a stair tread, it is hard to attach a clamp without the piece of wood ‘wandering’ from its original position. With wood adhesive, however, I hold the strip in the right position and after a few seconds I clamp it briefly.
Install with Snabb adhesive
The adhesive holds quickly and you do not need a clamp – you can make do with fewer tools and the installation goes quickly. What more could you want?
Other wood adhesives in the range
For wood adhesives Ute, Vinter and for interior use to achieve the best result, the parts being glued must fit together well and should be clamped for at least thirty minutes.
