Product detailed description
This oil-wax coating for wood uniquely combines the benefits of natural oils and waxes in a single product. Osmo Polyx®-Oil Original is dirt-resistant, water-repellent and highly abrasion-resistant, while also smoothing the wood surface.
Compared with conventional wood coatings, the use of plant-based ingredients creates even colouring and a more harmonious surface appearance.
Easy application – no primer or sanding between coats is needed, which saves both time and money. The coating is suitable for wood; it creates a microporous surface, which does not crack, peel, flake or blister.
It is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water in accordance with the German standard DIN 68861-1A – leaves no water marks.
Once dry, the coating is safe for people, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and sweat according to DIN 53160, suitable for children's toys according to EN 71.3).
