Application and design of the screw
The collated facade screw is designed for installing wooden facade cladding on a wooden substrate, mainly outdoors. The fibre cut in the tip reduces the drive-in torque and limits cracking as the screw penetrates the wood. The countersunk head with a sealing edge closes the hole in the surface; the screw length is chosen so that it does not damage the wind barrier layer.
