Description and application:
The storm tie is designed for use in roof structures and when installing crossing timber studs. When anchoring purlins, a right-hand and a left-hand tie are usually used together to create a firm fixing on both sides. The tie is used on a timber substrate outdoors as a mechanical connection between roof framing members.
