Joining roof structures and crossing timber studs
The storm tie is designed for use in roof structures and when installing crossing timber studs. When anchoring purlins, a right-hand and a left-hand tie are usually used together to create a firm fixing on both sides. The tie creates a mechanical connection between timber roof framing members outdoors.
