Fixing wooden components
The screw has a patented head shape that minimises splintering and helps to create a clean countersink. Underneath the head, the screw has cutting mills that cut through the wood fibres and countersink the screw into the wood, leaving a smooth, splinter-free surface. The head also works well in countersunk fittings, even though it has no protruding ribs.
